| These songs were composed as projects for the Oberlin Conservatory TIMARA department from 1992 - 1995. Tracks 4 through 9 represent music from my Junior Recital. Digital remastering took place in the summer of 2000 using a Macintosh G3, MOTU 2408, Digital Performer, Waves Native Power Pack, and Masterworks plug-ins. |

Junior Recital Ambience (Live) [Listen] |
The engineer recording my Junior Recital started the tape eight minutes before the show began. With a little EQ and reverb, this eight minutes made for some very interesting ambience. Recorded live at The Cat and the Cream Coffeehouse on February 22nd, 1995. | 7:26 |

Twisting Time [Listen] |
This was the first substantial piece I composed while at Oberlin, and is now deemed a "classic". Composed for synthesizers and electric guitar, this piece fully demonstrates my infatuation with the music of Tangerine Dream at the time. Electronic drums, synth bass and backing synth tracks were composed via MIDI using Digital Performer. Synth solos and roaring guitar solo (featuring Adam Christopher) were multi-tracked over the synth parts using an old Fostex 4-track! Mixed down to DAT. | 7:14 |
